Preaching To The Dead

Probably one the last movies I saw in a theatre was the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. One of my favorite scenes of any film is where the King of the Dead says to Aragorn "The dead do not suffer the living to part".

But He said to him, "Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim everywhere the kingdom of Yah." -Luke 9:60

I relate this scene to the concept of the living dead. There's two layers of understanding here. When Messiah said "let the dead bury the dead" he was clearly talking about the spiritually damned burying the physically dead who are also spiritually damned to the second death. Believers in Messiah who keep His Commands are surrounded by the dead. All who live in sin are dead:

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of Yah is eternal Life in Messiah Y'shua our Teacher. Romans 6:23

The living dead have no part in Him. We have upon hearing the Truth been offered Life. Y'shua raised the dead in the temporal only to raise the spiritually dead, that we might Believe.

For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the unbelieving, having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties and abominable idolatries. In all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them into the same excesses of dissipation, and they malign you; But they will give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they might live in the spirit according to the will of Yah. -1 Peter 4:3-6

"The dead do not suffer the Living to part"... nor should they:

For to me, to Live is Messiah and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21

Likewise, the "Living" don't suffer the "Living" to part:

There is a far greater suffering for the "Living" than mourning those who have passed... mourning the living.

"Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
-Matthew 10:28

Torah observers need not debate The Law with "christians". Let's expose what is "lawlessness", instead.

Somehow the hyper grace movement has convinced the world that the Messiah accepted everyone just the way they were, and removed sin from the world.

Christ did not tell us to befriend the world, or to hang out with sinners in hopes that we might convert them. This is more false doctrine pervasive in civic Christianity.
